This is a great photo. The decision to desaturate was great. I think it added to the somber mood of the whole composition. Amazing! (I wonder, did you have to be somewhere *in* the water, or were you further off with a zoom lens? ^_^)

Wow! It reminds me of a poem by Trakl called "Ophelia". He wrote about a girl which was lying dead in the water, with roses around her.. clearly this girl is not IN the water but the atmosphere is somewhat similar..
