The title immediately caught my eye on my DevWatch list. This is a really superb photo; the colors bring a bright vibrance to what is a constant image of poverty: the street children. But here, they look so happy, as if without a care in the world. The composition is excellent, too; it just explodes happiness. This is a wonderful photograph. Definite fave.

There's something in this shot that causes one to overlook their grimy appearance and see the beautiful features of the children.

It also makes me feel sad though, as an afterthought. When i take pictures of streetkids happily enjoying the attention and play, it's a nagging thought at the back of your mind that behind these great smiles is a hard life. ;o
