Name and Family: As mentioned previously, unicorns typically identify as family units under a specific house that descends in generation. Sunburst, as well as his family, belong to the house of dawn. Dawn unicorns typically bare warm colored manes and coats as well as names that suggest daytime. Sunburst, in particular, is a shining example of the tendency for dawn unicorns to be more magically inclined as a whole in comparison to unicorns from other houses. There is debate over why exactly this is, ranging from favoritism by the sun goddess herself to inheritance of magic through genetics, but no answer has yet to be proven. Dawn unicorns commonly show pride in having particularly long beards and/or foot feathers alongside the most noticeable feature of a curved horn. Both his mother and father show a nearly overbearing amount of pride in being in the house of dawn, which occasionally creates a level of insecurity in Sunburst.

Cutiemark: (images of his cutiemark will be provided below very soon!) Despite his insistence that his magical ability is below average, Sunburst sports a lesser version of a "growing" cutiemark found on alicorns and occasionally unicorns (such as starswirl, for example).

Physical appearance: Though on the shorter side for a stallion, Sunburst certainly isnt frail. His frame, though thin, is sturdy by unicorn standards with a good amount of weight in his legs and hindquarters. All of this considered, Sunburst is perfectly capable of physically performing...he just doesn't want to. Sports and feats of strength aren't his cup of tea per say, and fighting isn't even in the question. Partially out of personal preference and partially in dawn unicorn custom, Sunburst sports a rather long coat with a neat little beard and foot feathers. However, he seldom grooms himself to upkeep the fluff and often looks like he's rolled out of bed before leaving the house. Sunburst also wears glasses as he may as well be blind without them.

Personality and behavior: Sunburst is a natural born introvert. He values his time with others, but prefers to separate it from his much needed alone time. He keeps his days organized through a semi-precise ever-changing schedule that only exists inside of his own head. Though, it mostly consists of studying, reorganizing his book and scroll collection, and visiting his favorite cafe around noon to meet a friend for lunch. self image is a personal struggle of his, and he often talks down his own ability despite the amount of praise he gets. This is made worse by the expectations his parents have for him and the important positions his friends hold. However, through time and personal growth he will come to find that oftentimes the only pony he ever needs to impress is himself rather than measuring success to anypony else's expectations.
