Oh, hold up, this looks familiar!
This glowing purple haze doesn't look healthy though.
Could it be it is the same setting as some of my other pieces? If you thought so I have to say...: Yes, you're right!
I wouldn't necessarily count Rift as a direct part of the series but as an inspirational piece that kicked it off. It was highly influential in giving me an idea. This image's name is a nod to Rift.
Afterwards followed Emblazed Wasteland , Epiphany and Come-Back , and finally this here, making it the 4th (or 5th if counting Rift) piece set in the same setting (and the first in 16:9!).
This image was (in fact!) a 30minute doodle. I wanted to see what I can do with this harsh limitation when tackling a landscape.
