Haven't painted in a while, traditionally or digitally.
There's a white canvas waiting for me on the easel right now.

I need a name for these creatures. I don't want to use anything played out like "goblin" or "halfling", but I can't refer to them as "creatures" or "cave dwellers" constantly.

Also, I actually painted her with a much paler, duller colour palette, the above image is the effect of playing with levels to make her stand out from the background. I could make a whole array of different colour variations that way.
I've chosen a skin tone that's not too pale, not too red and not too Negroid, to keep it fantasy, but still plausible (and inoffensive).
