This page is completely random, it has nothing to do with my NaLu story.
Natsu was killed in a fight and his fire warmth disappeared as he died. Lucy was laying down beside him as she couldn't face the fact that he died until she froze to death herself. With her last strength she gripped Natsu's scarf and fell asleep.

I'm a fanfiction writer... I wrote a story based on this picture. Hope you enjoy:
Face worked, it practically destroyed Fiore. The excruciating pain was the last thing I felt as I reached my hand out towards my partner.
How could it have ended like this? He was so close... right next to me this whole time. Yet, in the blink of an eye he was gone. No, the world was gone, at least my world.
I never really knew what I had, until it was gone. No, I took my nakama and all these fortunate events for granted. I actually believed that we were unstoppable, but a forgot one crucial detail...
We were mortal.
Even if we were bound with magical powers, it was useless. No matter what happened, I couldn't deny the fact that right here, right now, we were all going to die.
We wouldn't die of pain. No, we would die because we had magic coursing through our veins. The very thing that made us, us. The very thing that had saved us many others countless times, was the course of our downfall.
Because we were mages we would die, because we were mages, our magic would be taken from us, because we were mages, we would lose our lives. And that's because we were mages.
But what if we were mages? I wouldn't have met anyone.Β I might have been stuck in that mansion, married to some rich man that only wants me for money. No! I wouldn't live that kind of life.
I can't move though, I feel powerless. At the last second Horologium saved me, but why me? It could've been someone else, anyone else. Yet he saved me. Oh, I wish I had the time to tell him to help another. It would've been more worth it.
Yet, although Horologium saved me from the climax of the pain, he was unable to last that long, letting me go once the blow was over.
The after effects hit my body and the agonizing pain began. I stumbled my way through the debris and the crumbling rocks, not caring about the scratches and scrapes I got from bumping into things.
And right as a reached out to him, I fell, exhausted from my tiresome journey. I later fell asleep.
I woke up to the slightest touch. It had begun snowing. I opened my eyes to see Natsu staring right at me. He grabbed my hand, smiling at the best of his ability. I grabbed his scarf, tears starting to run down my face.
I had no energy to move, and I doubt he could've moved either. No, we were suck like this, unable to pull closer and unable to push away.
The slowly falling snow no longer melted on his warm body, his was gradually becoming colder and colder, and I cried more silent tears at the lost of the warmth.
He was unable to speak, he couldn't utter a coherent word.
And as the blood red snow lay around him, I saw him mouth.
"I love you"
He closed his eyes, he looked almost happy.
I whispered some words that were barely hearable, yet I'm sure he heard them. And as the snow stopped and the wind whisked away my simple sentence, everyone could hear the mourning, yet happyΒ words that rang out telling everyone how she felt in a few words...
"I love you too"
