I'm not sure what to explain? (:

The horizontal lines that divide the page and make the shapes of the land were the dripping lines made when I painted on the bitumen that we use for hardground. That is also why I traced the shapes of the spoons.

The running lady was sort of inspired by the leaping Bacchus from Titian's "Bacchus and Ariadne"
I think, at the time, I wanted to run away.
The sad girl in the cave seemed too sad, so I gave her a Cat person to comfort her.
I put in too many cliches love and death and the moon.
