I say it's the one on the left. Personally, to me, the Johnny Depp version creeps me out.

Okay, only one of you is real, *Looks to theΒ left* Has a zany dress style with curledΒ gingerΒ hair, and a firm strong attitude. *Looks to the right* Dow to earth attire with a Maroon shaded red jacket with a black over shirt, deep brownish hair, has aΒ happy appearance, but is still a bitΒ firm like the other.Β
I've got it. The real Willy Wonka is, *Points to the right* Johnny Deep Β
People will disagree with that choice, but While I do like Gene Wilder as Willy, the Johnny Deep version is the one I seen first, and grew up with.

What's weird about both movies is that Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory takes more place with Charlie Bucket and Carlie and the Chocolate Factory talks more about Willy Wonka and his life before he was famous for his chocolate.Β

The right one is from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The right one, while still Willy Wonka, is from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

sounds like you haven't watched the original movie.
The trick to the questino is that the title of both movies is slightly different. the 70's movie was called "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory" while the recent one is called "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory"
THe book is by Ronald Dalh and called "Charlie and the . .. . "

no no, the left one isn't mad hatter. It's Willy Wonka played by Gene Wilder in "Wonka in the Charlie factory" i think from the 70s.

Never seen 'Charlie and The Chocolate Factory' just the version with Gene Wilder in it. I tried to watch the new one but I just couldn't follow the plot line.
