Description
Media: underpainting in guache paint and copic markers, but essentially painted over in digital media.
Tom Riddle is one of my favorite characters.
I especially like his dark, enigmatic side-- how does he go from being a charming schoolboy who can fool the school into respecting him, to being a mad Dark Lord? Fascinating. Companion piece: Β original sketch: fav.me/d7gfvka
Gentle critique is adored. What do I mean? If you see something odd, please tell me specifically what it is-- I keep your words in mind for the next drawings too.
Eeep, okay guys. Apparently the hand needs shadow, he's cross-eyed, the shoulder needs a darker line, and the dark mark under jaw and mouth are weird. Gaah, one day my people will look like proper people. T_T
Edit: I edited the line to the shoulder, redrew the hand, edited the skull, and moved the eyes. Then I played with contrast. Thoughts?

I like the colors.
I do not like the actor who played Tom in the film. I watched the movie after I read the book, and I was disappointed (in my imagination Riddle looks different). Because of this I do not like portraits painted with the actor (with the exception of portraits, when I like their style).
And the more valuable to me your drawings. Tom Riddle in your performance is outstanding.Β This is my opinion.

*nod* I know what you mean about the actors' faces not matching with what you saw in the books. I imagined a rather different figure too, as you can guess, but I can't quite pin him down in my art...so it's a shifting sort of face.

This one is so beautiful and I liked very much how the smoke shapes look specially the skull one
seriously all those details in the coloring the fresh textures on the clothes and the skin as always I have to say youre a pro with Β digital/Traditional mix and textures haha my dear you must do a tutorial because theyre so beautiful is what gives life to your drawings

Tom Riddle is going to be one of my favorite characters now because of you *0*
I love insight into his character, and I can see it in your paintings.
Because Tom Riddle is a different character from Voldemort, yet the same. But the way you portray him in your paintings, he appears so human but still with this underlying tension/turmoil underneath. Which is EXACTLY how I see this character.
I can see it in his expression; it's delight at what looks like hte mark, but it isn't dark; it's beautiful and lighter and almost appaering somewhat innocent ;w;

And your people DO look like proper people! You have made SO much progress. Your facial proportions have improved immensely, and just ahhhhh, don't be so hard on yourself! You're wonderful because you always seek help to improve, and you DO improve! I can see so much more detail and clarity in your work;
That's one thing I want to praise here. Is teh detail; from the thin lines in the hair to the details in his clothing (the knitting, I can SEE IT)
but also, the use of MANY colors in his face and hands; it's not just a single color darkened to add shadow; it's got reds and oranges and purplesΒ and it makes the hands much more realistic and interesting to look at.
Your hands are improving very much too *0* just shape and proportion-wise.
The colors in the skull are so varied and I aDORE this!

Eee, he is one of my favorite characters, so if I corrupt you over to the Tom Riddle ponders, I would be delighted. 
Hehehe, my innocent snake. This is inspired by a sweet friend who says, "No, snakes don't have evil flat eyes. They have round, sweet, gullible eyes!" (forever changed my opinion of snakes. From a distance. 
I try not to be too hard on myself. I just...am. Ahah.
lol, it takes a long time for you to notice? Not really. I don't post art as often as I should; I take foooorever. Hehehe. But I'm working on something inspired by you (again, hehe!) That one has (gasp) two figures instead of one...

the only critique that stands out is that the skull has a hell of an underbite, but I'm not absolutely certain how to fix it. The top part of the mouth should look like it's extending outward a bit, but I've no earthly clue how to achieve that effect. D:
Other than that, everything else is lovely--the smokey snake is perf~

Y'know I'm not sure how I'm gonna attempt to fix it either... I'll fiddle with it once I've had enough of a break-- sometimes it takes a bit of distance/time to get back to something.

Critique: The left hand does look like it's floating a bit, I think it's because the line from his shoulder to his arm isn't very defined that it sort of disappears towards the bottom.
But like always, loving the texture, the colors and that skull looks interesting
