I guess that maybe the case. However, if that's going to be part of the story line, how will this add up to Adventures and Assault? Clearly we haven't seen them at all until now with the confirmed cancelled SF2 game. My bet, they might be a mercenary duo after Fox and crew had financial issues and had to cut them out for the time prior.

We'll just have to wait and see. But at least they are now officially part of the series instead of being castaway. Besides, since Zero was a reimagining, they can follow off from there and introduce Miyu, Fay and Krystal into that one.

I get that Zero is a reimagine, but again the story time line needs to be added up. If I'd had to make a theory guess or 2, Nintendo might have something in mind as far as the 8 year gap from N64 / Zero to Adventures. Sure there's the Farewell beloved Falco comic, which explains why he's not in Adventures for the most part. Maybe after SF2, there might be some kind of event on how Fox probably had to cut Miyu and Fay out of the team, until the events after Assault in some aspects. Or my other theory in mind is that Nintendo probably have a reimagining production plan on Adventures and Assault, adding extra stories to tie in like Krystal's backstory (I'd did do a video on it and a pic in case you're wondering) along with Farewell beloved Falco and Miyu and Fay's cut from the team.
