Description
Commission forUnlike newly born (first laugh or actual babies) fairies, changelings - those fortunate enough become a fairy have to learn how to fly. Here we see a few girls earning their new wings under an experienced instructor.

They're like training wheels. There to catch you if you fall, but you can learn to not rely on them.

It had already been a long day for Sparks. But it had to be done. Newbies didn't just learn to flutter overnight. Well most of them didn't. Still it could be frustrating at times....

Sigh *facepalm* "And Tia... happy thoughts.... you do remember, HAPPY, right?"

A little of both actually.
I long since wrote out their "bio's" for my own reference, and they've appeared in assorted stories (unpublished) that I've occasionally included in letters with friends. As a member of Toastmasters, I was always more of an oral storyteller. So I usually only needed notes/key elements for tales.
Now that I've been getting recognized for more written story telling, a few comic tales that I've been able to afford here on DA or some Storyboard layouts, I may have to take all these assorted "rough" drafts written more for my memories and amusement and turn them into stories that others can also enjoy. I guess it's become part of my reputation for being able to give interesting and creative commissions as well as fun characters.
