Commission forThere is one in every group. Violet is a powerful elder fairy and very much a traditionalist. A firm believer that fairies need only wear what nature gave 'em, she's the founder / president (for life) of the O-Natural club. And new fangled ideas like Christmas... even if it did have hot chocolates,.. and cookies... and candies....

I think I saw Joy, Jingle, Jangle, Noel, Holly Berry, and Tinsel (some of the younger, more enthusiastic; especially about the holidays, fairies in the troop) leading the charge and wanting to get an early jump on the celebrations, insisting the NEED a little Christmas, right THAT very minute. The forks from the Thanksgiving pumpkin pie had not even had time to clink on the plate.
Violet must have (accidentally) gotten in the way of the l'il enthusiasts as they decorated the tree. Even an ol' fogy traditionalist fairy like Violet certainly wouldn't have been trying to stop them.. would she?
