stainless steel bodies would be an absolute pain to restore, delorean had the idea that owners would simply replace rather than fix bits, not to mention the cars are a total pup
be better off getting a used one, or using the stacks of leftover parts and make one up
you can buy new ones now for near $60k

meh. Im a machienist (sorta... mechanical enginear anyway) so I could jest make parts form the origenal desines...
but I would more like to make it a new car... like make the body the same but redo the engin and other parts to make it a viabul car... but also restoing it to its origenal is interesting to me as well (I like history... it anoyes me when people buy perfect cars jest to tare them apart... i mean it would make sents if you cousld but... bla... its a rant thats goes on for ever with me)
