Ivysaur wasn't the most useful Pokemon. Braixen had better moves, but Ivysaur was great for dealing with Water, Ground and Rock types. Ivysaur got a hell of a lot more useful when I got Venoshock though, destroying Fairy types was a piece of cake.

I really like him ! The head is a bit oversized though.
Currently I'm playing through pokemon Red and I have bulbasaur being my pal. Hope my Ivysaur is gonna be as usefull as yours.

Yeah. Serebii says Bulbasaur has an advantage at the first few gyms but then isn't thatusefull anymore. But im just gonna train it and help it get stronger

He/she looks really good here! I would have chosen bulbasaur as my kanto starter (in kalos), but I was going to own a pokemon from every gen and I wanted gengar a wee bit more. I still love these guys, though.
