The other half of Dawn's parents, King Aral Waterson and his lover Taine. Aral was only about 5'6"-5'7" while Taine was nearing 7' and Taine would definitely take advantage of that height difference to tease his lover. Taine was from the Island of the Blue Men mentioned in both Polaria and Diana's travels. He and Aral met while working for a stage company in Silvan for the summer. Taine was very strategically smart, and apart from having a standing invitation to beat Usagina at chess (she would protest this description but its true), he eventually ended up as one of her advisors.
