Description
My second, and 'full' entry into the Devious Desktops Space Out contest with a comet passing by a gas giant and two of its moons (the larger of which is essentially a planet in and of itself and inhabited).

A big mix of things used to create this, the gas giant was made in After Effects using the Virtual Copilot Orb system (the same technique I used for Going Home ) while the two moons were made in Cinema 4D and Octane. The comet and satellite were also modelled in Cinema4D and rendered with Octane (Octane's scatter function was great of the tail), the starfield is made in the same technique as those in my Starfield packs ( gumroad.com/alastairtemple, i.e. Apophysis plus some overpainting). All put together in Photoshop.

Good luck to everyone else who has entered. Going to be quite the task to pick a winner!
