Description The Danko Charger is finally public!

Mr. Moshe Field will be at SEMA next week showing it off to the masses and will start production on the pieces as soon as he returns.

It was a pleasure working with him on this project (even if he is really picky... but heck, I would be too!) and I can't wait to see this thing for real!
I hope he's not done creating mods though. He has a great vision of how these cars should look.

What's new; whole front clip, new front fenders, modified rear doors and QP's.

I love it!

That would be awesome.
But that there is just Danko's custom modded version. He makes a bunch of parts for the Charger (and other cars), and he just wanted to go extreme.
Everything but the nose is pretty much ready to go, but I don't think he's going to start selling the parts until he's got them all done. Hopefully by this fall we should see a full prototype.

Thanks.

The lights are fully modeled... down to the element in the bulb. lol

There's a bump map on the lense, but that's it.

Holy Sh*t! He actually made it?! And it's done?! OMG, OMG, OMG!!!!!! That is awesome! Too awesome! Have you seen it yet? So many awesome Mopars will be at SEMA this year! I can't wait! (well, I can't wait for the pics from the auto blogs, as I certainly won't be going....)

He hasn't finished it yet... that's just my model there. But soon!

I'd say he's about 90% on the front fenders, 70% on the rear... and he's gonna start on the nose when he gets back from SEMA.

I can't wait to see some WIP shots as he builds it.

Ok, I know that's your model. Your other ones (I think there your's) are all over the chargerforums. But seriously, that is still f'n awesome! When you say "start" on the nose, do you mean he hasn't got anything physical yet? Do you know if he was able to get the hidden headlights to work? It is amazing that he chose such a complex idea and stuck w/ it. It will make charger owners around the country rejoice, but their pockets cry! lol

Sorry I didn't mean to make it sound like you didn't know... that came out wrong... thanks though.

But yea he hasn't started on the nose yet. He's been toying with the idea for a while, but he wanted to see what it would look like completed and from all angles before he started. We went nuts making lil adjustments here and there (he's picky, but I don't blame him at all)... I don't even remember when I first started working on it to be honest...

As far as I know though, the headlights will be static at first (I'm guessing a manual snap-on/off cover for night driving) and electric hide-aways later on. It'll have to be built first to figure out how the headlights will be done. There's not a whole lot of room for the covers to hide when folded away. So we'll see.

But yea, I really hope the old-skool Charger fans (and their spouses... hehe) will fall in love with it.
