I finished this one on the 11th; lately I've suddenly taken up drawing cartoon animals as opposed to manga/anime-style humans. This is a bit Disney, maybe :SThis happens to be a dragon, with a mane. Because dragons with manes are cool. She has Smud's colouring (maybe I'm a bit unimaginative? XD) and she's female because it's much more challenging to make a dragon look feminine.
I broke out the good old fashioned black texta and coloured pencils for this one. In other words, used my shitty old "art supplies" from primary school and high school.

It's not hard drawing female figures... just add fancy eyebrows. (Well, that's my opinion)
Anyways, that's pretty smooth, it does stand out from other dragon cartoon styles.

You did quite the nice job with this. The line art is very professional and clean, and the coloring isn't bad, either. The design of this dragon head is interesting; it has appeal to it that makes it stand out from most other dragon cartoon designs that I've seen. I think it's the eyes that help a lot; eyes seem to be the focal point of the face.

Thankyou for that! I have issues with my lineart because I'm not very good at inking (and I used a cheap texta for this one), but I must be on the right track.
Eyes are something I find easy, at least ^^'.
