I took this picture from a 3m platform next to the 1m springboards. It's Derek Peabody: Fifth Place Winner in the Massachusetts D1 boys 1m Dive meet. It's blurry yes, but i was shooting film.Canon ae-1

He should have space further down instead of up, as this is where he is going. To ensure proper framing when shooting fast-paced scenes like this one, I would suggest zooming out a bit.

thanks. i wanted to. i couldnt. I figured they wouldnt let me on the 3m platform to shoot, so i brought the zoom lens. well 80mm is not very far out.
