This won the award of 'Best Photograph from the Japan Holiday'...quite proud of this, no-one else spotted the 'wonderful shot oppurtunity...'

So you're supposed to crawl through this hole in the pillar, called the Buddha's Nostril (!), because it's the same size as the giant buddha's nostril in the temple...and anyway, it's a gateway to Nirvana, I think. I didn't have a go, not with my man shoulders (O_o), no seriously the hole was fairly small, but my sister tried and started crying when she got stuck and refused to try again..she only needed to twist her neck in a certain way...^__^
