Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead)

Aegina challanged me to make a fantasy piece, but as you can see it came out looking very dark (don't ask me why) I think it still has some fantasy elements in it.

I dedicate this piece to =aegina Enjoy it dear.

Let's break this piece down:
After masking all the parts of the pics that i want to use..i added multiple textures to the horse. Some parts of the armor on the horse are made from scratch about 37%. After placing the model on the horse, it didn't seem to look quite right...so i decided to chop the model in half I changed most of the facial expression, and added alot of other elements to achive the desired effect. The head on the right is painted with some texture and again some other elements.
After alot of retouches/blending/paint work and couple of hours later....A new piece is born. Here you can see a bit of the process---> [link]

I got some fantastic shots with this model, sadley out of the 100 pic we made only 20 are good enough to be used in future pieces. (This doesn't mean that model didn't do a good job, it just means i have to be a better photographer next time hehe)
