Their approach was unnoticed, unheard over the roar of the waves. When they were in full view it was too late to run. They had the look of armed professionals and it would've been foolish to defy them. They subdued the young beach combers with efficient swiftness and abruptness of purpose. Everyone was soon handcuffed and gagged with leather mouth restraints and loaded into the landing boat. Two of the soldiers stayed ashore to search for the rest of their friends. They had this all planned out. Soon the captives were aboard the waiting submarine to be transported to an unknown location. No trace of them was allowed to be found on the beach the next day.
