a hawk visited my yard the other day, it was just sitting in the tree for a while and then it landed on the ground stamping and clawing in the mud with its feet looking for worms to eat and then it would go back to sitting in the tree. it did this for quite a while before it finally flew off.
this is about the best shot I managed to get out of the encounter, I really wish the camera I was using at the time had better zoom.
