Description "The Roamer came to our world when it was still young. He walked through our lands before we held weapons and before the gods gave us fire. It seems that he had been walking forever, watching us make huts into villages, villages into towns and towns cities. They say you could see him move miles in a year at first, but as time went on, he stopped.
No one knows why, but they say that as our link with nature faded, so did his life force. I, on the other hand, say he's still walking, slower than ever. And once we redeem ourselves to nature, he will roam our lands again."

That is what the Bu'tell folklore, the oldest known book of tales, says about the Roamer. Sadly, this does not explain how or when this amazingly sculpted statue was made. It seems that until we find proof even older, it will remain a mystery.

Some people would disagree. They would say that the folklore explains the origin of the roamer perfectly well. But that's nonsense. People who climb monuments like these should not be listened to, especially if they say the statue's pupil moved to look at them. It is good that we get rid of them, as they are madmen.

What a nice story! I really enjoy this little tale in the description. You made the statue fit so well into the environment, at first I thought that this is just a mushroom!
Amazing concept an drawing!

I can't say I didn't take some of my inspiration for this big guy from mushrooms. Especially, for the gill-like structures he has on his head, those are basically shrooms.
Let's hope I get around to doing more shrooms in the future : >

"What a stupid question. It's a statue, not a living thing. I'll let it slip this time, but you might get punished if you keep spreading lies like that."

Jokes aside, it's all up for reinterpretation. As for myself, I like to think of him as an alien who accidentally landed here and has no idea what's going on in the world.
