in about 500+ years, the cyborg revolution will occur with humans 'uploading' their minds into Gynoid chassis like this; and then... ?

She has a bit of a " Come hither " seductive look to her that I quite like. Very nice detailing.
If they start designing real fembots or androids that aren't just for P.R. purposes, maybe they'll look something like her.
One never knows.....

Thank you! This one was one of my favorites because I liked how 'solid' she felt. I beleived I could actually feel the hardness, and coldness of her metal shell....

Wow! She's my favourite too. You're so welcome for the comment. ^_^
Her skin is made out of metal shell, is that right?

I feel you have fantastic colouring skills with 'real' tools! Looks great. I remember doing a similar sort of thing way back in the early 90s mine was just done in pencil though!

I think it has to do with tactile sensory perception and weight. My tablet is great and all, but it never feels real...it kinda makes me feel 'disconnected.' Also my development in real tools far exceeds my development of computer tools (except for Photoshop where I have intimate knowledge of tips, tricks, and manipulations.)
But i'm learning....I'll get there...

Reminds me of some of the android art from Heavy Metal magazine. Nice!

I got the tutelage from His images were so crisp and touchable and I couldn't put my finger on why. All he said was that he defined his borders. Which when i analyzed his work, it made sense. Everywhere there was a border he very clearly outlined it or darkened it. He was careful about which shadows should be 'blurred' and which should be sharp in contrast.
Also, his highlights played alot with his work too. With this illo I had played with various lighting tactics and used my highlights to 'define' my borders.
I hope all that makes sense :condused:

it does,i was told/taught never to outline your borders as it takes away depth.
of course that was with pencil and this is with markers so iam sure it is different. i shall try this out on the illo iam working on now.
thanks

If you notice, this has line art, but I used the smallest line possible. I was going to go back and thicken lines and add line weights...but I liked it better without..
If you do have line art...just make areas where there will be light as thin as possible (in some cases...non-existant) and areas where there is shadow..thicken the line...or better, use a dark shade that matches or nearly matches the line art...
