Description
PREDAQUEEN
Cloned from long-extinct Predacon CNA, and bred to be the companion of Predaking: Predaqueen is second mightiest Predacon in existence. With strength, size and stamina equal to that of her mate, she is a very formidable opponent, particularly when in beast-mode. Like her mate, she is proud, strong and ambitious: but unlike Predaking, she has a strong sense of warrior’s honor, and respect for her opponents on the field of battle. In many ways, both she and Predaking are a lot alike, but they are also very different; particularly when it comes to their offspring.
Their first sparkling was Volcanus, a strong and stubborn son who became his father’s pride and joy, taking after him in every way. But the rest of the brood failed to meet his expectations; Cyandus was born small, weak and frail, Cynda’s bubbly compassion and lack of blood-thirsty rage made her a disappointment in her father’s optics, Nightshade was too ‘different’, and little Spitfire was born with pink armor and had the happy-go-lucky attitude to match. Volcanus was the only sparkling to live up to his father’s expectations of a ‘good predacon’, and he never made any secret about it; he felt ashamed that these other four ‘weaklings’ were of his bloodline, and didn’t hesitate to let them know.
Predaqueen however, was of a much more different opinion: her maternal instincts drove her to protect her offspring from the wrath of her mate and his fellow predacons, and in time, she came to see their perceived weaknesses as strengths over their contemporary predacons; thus, she became encouraging, and pushed them to overcome their fears. But Predaking would not stand for this, and one day, when his mate left the nest to go hunting, he plucked Cyandus out, crushing his wing in the process, and proceeded to cast him out. Fortunately, Predaqueen heard her son’s cries for help, and made it just in time to stop him; her rage and fury was unlike anything the other predacons had ever seen, as she brutally ravaged her mate: blinding him in one optic and shredding his wing-membrane so he couldn’t fly.
Predaking never attempted to cast them out again, and in the time it took for his wings and optic to heal, Predaqueen made it clear that she would never abandon her children for anything, not even him, or the other predacons. The incident has since cast a dark shadow over their relationship: and in the years since then, Predaqueen never let her children out of her sight for even a moment: for while Predaking will not cast them out, the other predacons, (going on their instincts to keep the pack strong and the able) wouldn’t hesitate to kill and eat them. Everyday has been a struggle for survival, and the only reason the pack hasn’t ganged up on her, is because she is as powerful as her mate: and despite their strained relationship, Predaking still has feeling for her; and anyone that crosses him over her, quickly learns it’s better than to push your luck with the king and queen of the Predacons.
For Predaqueen, motherhood has put a lot of things into perspective: things she thought she knew, but came to realize she had been wrong about; and likewise, other things she once believed to be wrong, were in truth reality. She has constantly walked a fine line between her predacon instincts and her higher intelligence; having to tread carefully around her kin, while at the same time keep the well-being and safety of her children a priority. It’s frustrating and annoying, but what anger’s her the most: is that of all the people who should see sense and support her, it should be her mate. For while Predaking continues to act on his instincts rather than his intelligence, and ignore the fact that his four ‘weaklings’ have grown into four unique and amazing individuals, there is a chance he could inadvertently put them, and the whole pack at risk; all for his arrogance and pride.
Predaqueen knows that unless Predaking changes, there may come a time when she may have to leave him, and take the children to a safer place. It’s a choice she doesn’t like to think about: but her children come first. And despite her best attempts to try and make her mate see sense and reason: it may be that she might have to give up on him; not because she doesn’t care, but because he doesn’t.
Predaqueen is the one of many cloned Predacons that Shockwave managed to successfully resurrect: as part of an initiative to create a predacon army that would act as Megatron’s personal hunting pack, used for the sole purpose of sniffing out and destroying the Autobots in large numbers. Originally, it was believed that predacons were nothing more than primitive beasts: driven by instinct with no real higher intelligence.
But several weeks after the cloning process was completed, the predacons began to reveal their intelligence and abilities to transform to Shockwave and the other Decepticons. Predaking took it upon himself to lead the predacons on Megatron’s behalf: and while the other predacons soon fell into line and took his lead, Shockwave was uncertain of what to do. While the predacons possessed the potential to swing the odds in the Decepticon’s favor, Megatron could feel threatened by another whose strength and ferocity were equal to his own. And since Soundwave had his own agenda for the Decepticons in mind, he decided to keep the Predacons a secret from the rest of the Decepticon forces. He had the creatures transported to one of his many secret facilities; to a small Mars-sized planet called Pydar 6, about 785.000 light years from Earth: that served as a energon mining facility, and penal colony for many of his other ‘successful experiments’.
It was here that Volcanus, Cyandus, Cynda, Nightshade, and Spitfire were hatched and raised, in complete secret from Shockwave’s loyal followers; since the predacons were allowed free range of the whole planet, hiding them wasn’t too difficult. And since Shockwave rarely visited the facility, Predaqueen didn’t have to worry too much about the younglings being discovered. With many other experimental creatures breeding all over the planet: and the energon mining facility stretching out over a quarter of the planet, with seepage's and leaks here and there, finding food was never an issue for the predacon pack. And for the time they lived there, it was a relatively sustainable existence.

Woo-hoo! New OC time! & this new batch have been a long time coming Predaqueen and her family will be making an appearance sometime in the future: I'm aiming at having them coincide with the inevitable Sits II squeal, which is still a long way off yet; but before then, I'm hoping to write them their own story as an intro of sorts.
PLEASE NOTE: Although I've done these new predacons OCs in the style of TP, their actually part of My-verse (the 2007 TF movie with a little bit of everything else thrown in): for full details, check out my Fanfic page > www.fanfiction.net/u/2240574/S… I just prefer the TP style, as it's so smooth and easy to draw; it's simply a preference okay?
Disclaimer: Predaqueen is mine, please ask before borrowing.
