behind the image;;This is something I made for a friend of mine. Her father and her where really close and he'd been struggling with his health for quite some time. He was a horseman, a great horseman, a horseman that people inspired to be like. Unfortunately he lost his battle. I'm not going to give this to her right away as I'm sure she is grief ridden. I'm not sure about you all, but when I loose something close to me I'd rather have my space. When she is somewhat better I'm going to send this to her... but for the meantime it shall sit in my gallery.
What I'm trying to portray in this image is 'being taken'. It may be to heaven, your spirit, whatever form you believe in. Take it how you will.

This is....beautiful...I'm like speechless, I don't think beautiful even begins to discribe the perfection and feeling behind this imgae. Honestly, I have read a million stories that artists put beneath their images to try and show the feelings in it and this...is the only one that I have ever actually gotten the feeling of grief and loss from.
Thank you for sharing your amazing artwork and I hope that one day I will be able to insipre people the way you have inspired me.

You always seem to find a way to make such emotional pieces that mean more than just something to look at. This is....well I have no words for it..
When I lost my grandfather I was so terribly depressed and in a "dark" spot for a while...It was hard for me to pull through. I just wish I had had a friend like you there to help me through. She is one lucky gal to have you as a friend.
I do not know her, but I feel her pain, and I wish her the best and hope she will understand that he is now in a better place..and there is no more struggle.

I'm so sorry to hear about your grandfather. That would have been incredibly tough to go through. I lost my grandfather as well a few years back and that was extremely tough. I know what you mean by your 'dark' spot.
I agree, he's in such a better place now. He was in so much pain. It's tough on those that loved ones leave behind, but in time I truly believe that we'll all meet again in some way, shape of form.

Well thanks Vamp, it really was unfortunate. The situation was bad though, he was in quite a bit of pain from what I understand. He's in a much better place now.
