Thanks John, I suspect it is somewhere nearer 2x. I was using my EF 100mm Macro with 68mm of Kenko tubes.

Since DA changed their layout, size of thumbs and the way the new thumbs are accessed,
I hardly get any fresh people. I'm lucky if I get one or two views before the photo
sinks without trace. Then I have to submit it to groups and hope that it gets accepted
and another handful of people will notice it.
"New and Improved" is seldom, if ever better. And what DA have done recently proves that
humans are incapable of sentient thought. They just blunder blindly from one malfunction
to the next and create a cacophony of "Haven't we done well-shitness".
Sorry for the rant... very hard and discouraging day all round.
