I don't want to grow up!
I'm going into high school next year
...But I still feel like a 4th grader! Dx
The reason I put my phone in the drawing is because I called my mom (she's on a trip to Cali at the moment) and she helped me out a lot and made me feel loads better c: I <3 my mommy

I really hate being stressed like that... In HS you get to pick your classes.
Pst! Pick teachers, not classes!* A good teacher in a bad class is 1,000,000x better than a bad teacher in a cool class.
*Unless it's a class you're REALLY excited/interested in.

Kssh. I look at myself. Holy crap I'm 17! And yeah, this age sucks. Too early for romance, too late for cute non-romance things that used to take the place.
Meh. I feel kinda better right now, tho, having a big family around on vacation, all my nephews and nieces are here. Kinda odd, really, my Nephew is much closer in age to me than most of my brothers 
I'd suggest not rushing into romance, though. I'm 17 and I say it's too early. People change too much, too early in education for us guys to get a real job to support a family, so any relationship at this age won't work out, so it'll just cause a lot of pain and heartbreak...
Excited about College, though. 3 hour-days or so, but all day taken by homework. IMO much better than school, esp. if ya get with a cool study group. And I'll actually study things I'm interested in by, hopefully (ratemyprofessor.com), competent and possibly even nice teachers.

i knu how u feel :/ im a freshmen in highschool now and i have A BUTT LOAD OF HW... and the teachers/parents/students/everyone putts so much stress on you because these are the years that pretty much say if you go to colladge, what you want your job to be, if you will even GET a good job, etc. I wanna go back to nap time and being able to say I WANNA BE A DOCTOR/VET/FIREMAN/WOMAN!! and not actually have to worry about it :/ sry this will prob just make u feel worse >A< but i feel ur pain :S

When I was in kindergarten, I wanted to be a superhero. No joke. And then in 1st grade, I realized that you couldn't be a superhero, so I wanted to be a police officer, since apparently it's the closest thing. XD

I kinda know how you feel. My friends that are about two years younger than me are WAY better than I was when I was their age, even if it was only a couple of years ago. ;w;

Maybe it's a generational thing, or just how kids are raised in general.
I mean, I never had a computer when I was younger(till age 10), so I was drawing from my mind, or from my dogs who couldn't sit still. I taught myself everything- no lessons or references or anything.
I think that kids now days have more references and more lessons and teachers and things.
Mmm, I dunno. Maybe I'm looking into it too much.
Either way, growing up isn't /that/ bad, despite what people would like you to think. It's hectic, yes. People are bitches, yes. It's hard, fuck yeah it is.
But it's all a process, it's something that we all go through. And, despite the hardships, I've found that it can be fun, too. Enjoy your young days, and when you get here, enjoy the teenage years too. Because this is going to be a journey, definitely. Might as well make the best of it while you can, no?

that's what I was thinking, about kids having more references, but you worded it way better than I would.
I know that Disney movies have always inspired me, and that they were most likely my first big inspiration to start drawing.
As a little kid, around 5-6 maybe, I would always go on postopia for some reason. I don't rememeber why, but I just remember that I liked the website. Then when I was 8 I joined neopets, and I guess that was also one of my first big art inspirations.
And I agree, it should be a time to learn a lot about life, but to have fun, too.
...Somebody told me that growing up isn't that bad, because when you can drive and get a job, then you can buy pokΓ©mon cards whenever you want. Made my day. xD

You lucky bastards, getting Neopets at 8. I didn't get mine until 12. |D I made one of my best friends on Neo, and still talk to her everyday. x3 I think it was my dad that first got me into art. He's a fantastic artist; drawing is just in my blood, I guess. Him and nature. I used to draw random crap doodles of stuff I saw in my backyard. xD I never really got inspired by Disney, surprisingly. I've heard of a lot of artists getting inspired by them, but I was never one to like their style, much.
