getting a custom designs involves discord, aka lots of chatting, wips
etc, making tons of decisions. Can be hellish work

its basically first having basic concept, the clearer the better
then i ask about anatomy, draw a sketch
if all is good, sketch gets lined (tail is sometimes added later if customer cant decide yet)
colours will be added, either basic colour, or at the head get it started at first, before neck, torso, legs, tail etc
more details will be added, marking wise
all done
jewelry part comes now and all those extras, where i draw all kinda random stuff on them and customer decides what they like the most, or not at all etc etc
or they have a clear idea what they want, i will draw that
sometimes in between, not always, i get random ideas and show them, and make deciding for the customer even harder, cuz maybe they like this diff concept after all AND AHHHH
lots of work indeed, i have to draw the same thing in a lot of varities, which can go from just 3, to over 10 examples sometimes
and then there is the social aspect, the lots of talking between us |D which is funnily more straining than the drawing
so if u ever commission me indeed for a design, a lil look at what u can expect / need to prepare for.

the social part costs often more time than the actual drawing, reasons I had to change the pricing recently, which went higher. Depending how well I can work with the customer it can go from fun, to rather draining if I am honest, but I really do not wanna sugarcoat it. Designing aint easy, esp when the customer rly cannot decide or starts to agree too easily (just to get done with it i have the feeling) and then i rly needed to remind them sometimes, to simply say what they want, voice their thoughts, otherwise, obvs i cannot give them the design they really want. I think no one wanna pay so much, just to not be happy with the design later.

and from designs i sadly i have to take a break for a good while, they cost too much time unlike standard commissions, where I dont have to be in constant contact with my commissioner and i'm in the last year of my school now, can only attempts adopts now design wise.
