Giga mermaid from Shantae: 1/2 Genie Hero.Mannnn, after my last Shantae pic blew up way more than I figured it would (I seriously thought I'd get like, maybe 5 favs on it tbh xD I'm so glad so many liked it!), I decided to sort of look more into Shantae out of curiosity. Thennnn I saw this Giga Merm and I was like, immediately in love with her design, so I just HAD to draw her. :'D I just...fricking love mermaids and sirens, so this was so fun to do too!

So, I just got this game today; got myself the digital copy on Wii U, and I have to say it's awesome!
Though, I found it silly when the Giga Mermaid attacks you after you free her. XD
The dialogue in this game is HILARIOUS, though.

I don't have the game, but I saw the Giga mermaid battle on the YouTubes. The only thing I can think of why she continues to attack even after being freed, is just her still being blinded by pure rage. I figure this since her eyes are still red, so that's just my theory, haha.

Yeah I like her design too. I'm thinking in the game you free her and she gives you the mermaid transformation -shrugs- If you do more Shantae stuff in the future I wouldn't mind seeing some Nega-Shantae hehe

I've actually never played any Shantae-anything, so the stuff I end up drawing for it only comes from if the design sticks out to my liking.

Ah well Nega-Shantae is basically an inverted color scheme of Shantae: pale skin, red hair, green eyes, purple outfit and silver metal (to Shantae's gold). Oddly while I like ebony gals alot I LOVE Nega-Shantae haha
