I am a total ass to submit a revamp where my dumb OC looks different, but I don't mind either way since I still love old Aurie's hair-

I will upload the persona meme thing for a fullboday of Chloris and to justify the purchases of skills n' stuff tomorrow, I CAN'T DO IT TODAY INTERNET

Personality:
Aurelia used to be a very shy and introverted girl who had a hard time making real friends due to her relunctance to tell the truth or state her opinion. It went so far that she'd willingly end up lying in order to agree with whoever was speaking - and that unwillingness to break the peace eventually and subtly made her stop putting any effort into her life.
However, since her encounter with her various shadow selfs, Aurelia has come to terms with a lot of her life's mistakes.
She's gained a great enthusiasm for trying new experiences and really living life to her fullest. Sports, or clubs which she never had the courage to join, now greatly interest her - as do adventurous or outdoorsy hobbies like fishing or camping. Her heightened interest has made her much more expressive and emotional as well - she gets irritated, pouty and laughs much more easily - when before she had trouble even vocalizing a feeling.
While more lively however, Aurelia still shows moderation in action, and emotion with all the good grace and restraint expected of a high-class girl. Her ability to empathaise with the more soft-spoken and flustered types allows her to offer a friendship wrought with support. She is earnest, hardworking and gracious to all she meets, and while less gullible she is no less charitable.

Strengths:

Honesty with restraint:
With her newfound bravery, Aurelia does her best to tell people the truth. This can be both a strength and a weakness, but thanks to her tact and good education she'll usually find a peaceable or subtle way to state her opinion without causing much offense.

Perceptive:
She tends to have a pretty good read of people. Likewise she's pretty good at seeing past a lie, or being able to spot when someone is being bullied.

Sharp & studious:
Very meticulous and has a good memory. She's very good at puzzles and does excellent on tests and studies because of it.

Plays the violin:
Despite playing the violin mostly in her youth, 6 years later she's managed to retain most of the skill. As such, she plays the violin fairly well.

A willing and able friend, indeed:
She is more willing than ever to help or take part. If someone ever needs an extra hand or someone's advice, Aurelia is always ready to advise or aid.

Tactically clever:
Has a strategic mind when it comes to battle - she'd rather think something through than charge ahead, and now she's become more vocal about using her skills. She especially has an eye for recognizing her friends strengths.

Weaknesses:

Klutz:
Clumsy, and not sure-footed at all Aurelia is close to being on first name acquaintances with every piece of furniture in her room. In some cases she zones out so much that she'll bump into lamp posts, buildings and even people.

No self-value:
Has zero self worth. It's not an emo thing - but rather because of who she was before her shadow encounter, she believes she has an almost infinite length to go before she becomes a better person - and therefore cannot believe people who say she's better than she was. She'll only believe she's better when she herself believes she's conquered everything the shadows said.

Too quick to blame herself:
She is eager to accept blame about herself - even if it isn't her fault. She takes fault in good spirits and with enthusiasm hoping she can make an effort to fix something within herself, that a lot of the time she'll be absent to the fact that it might not even be true.

Apologetic:
She's gained the annoying habit of apologizing for every mistake she makes - even when things aren't even her fault.

Pushes herself too much:
She views her previous self with a lot of scorn, and can be very hard on herself for her non-commital ways. This can push her into doing some stupid things in her effort to distance herself and make better on what she was.

Tries too hard:
Eager to prove herself, she'll suggest or sign up for a lot of tasks even when she's not the best person for it, and can quite easily get swamped by it all.

Unfit:
Aurelia is not that fit, and if forced to run can find herself out of breath fairly quickly.
It's something she's been trying to address however.

Reluctance to ask for help:
Doesn't ask for help. Sure she'll be walking down the hall, carrying 30 different papers, and a cup of tea - but she just can't ask. Everything is her own private mission and she keeps thinking she can win every personal conflict by herself.

History:
Born in France to busy parents, Aurelia learnt from a young age that her mother and father were frequently absent through work. Growing up needy through their lack of presence, Aurelia constantly required their praise and love; becoming the epitmony of a good girl to get it. She studied hard, never stayed out late, and gave her all to whatever was asked of her.
And it worked. For every outstanding score, her mother took time off to shop and eat icecream with her, and her father read her fairytales and took her to themeparks. And even at school where she'd been mostly ignored for lack of standing out, Aurelia had suddenly gained schoolmates surprised by her high-grades and pleasant personality.
And she was finally happy, learning ultimately that good manners and hard work went a long way.

However, shortly after her 6th birthday tragedy struck when her father busy with a phone call crashed into another car.
His death, threw Aurelia and her mother into grief. Aurelia had trouble mantaining her good grades and by proxy found herself "losing" her schoolmates. And her mother overworked to the point of exhaustion was rarely ever home to be there for Aurelia. After half a year, all her schoolmates had abandoned her. Tired of her constantly agreeing and never losing her good-girl persona they found her dull and gloomy - and one by one, they left. And she was alone - both at home, and school.

A year later, her mother is offered a promotion to work abroad in japan at a newly opened branch and leaps at the chance to leave France and all the bad memories it holds. And as the good daughter, Aurelia duly agrees - learning the language with her mother and adapting quickly to her life in Japan.

Not long after the move, Aurelia's mother met a man at work and before long - she had remarried, only after the fact, learning that her new suitor was amazingly rich. He was kind and compassionate, both to Aurelia and her mother - and the kindness and love he offered Aurelia was exactly what she'd always needed - and it threw Aurelia into disarray. Feeling like if she accepted him she'd be betraying the memory of her dead father, Aurelia distanced herself from him and did what she always did - ducked her head down, didn't cause trouble, and did her school work.

Eventually, Aurelia's good grades earned her the pick of any school she desired - but with no care as to where she went, the duty then fell to her parents - who picked out Higashimori High School hoping that this would be a better oppurtunity for her to be more honest with herself.

Trivia:
She has a newfound disdain for using her family's wealth since she found herself feeling entirely selfish before. She refuses to spend money which would usually be a problem - however since Batiste is around to take care of her day-to-day, his restricted budget instead allows Aurelia to experience new things and different foods.

Still obsessed with fashion magazines and the latest trends. She enjoys buying a ton of hair accessories and actually has an over-flowing collection now.

At her previous school Aurelia was a top tier student, always doing excellently on tests. She used to do the homework and run errands for various other students, one of which was a very troubling student called Motoko...

She's always considered dying her hair, but she doesn't quite have the guts for it - especially when she thinks about what her mother's reaction would be.

She makes an effort to spend a lot more time with Masao - her father. When she takes trips home, she'll enjoy tea and cake with him over discussions of how she's been.

She does not think she is worthy of any love - and therefore has stopped thinking about boyfriends and romance entirely. She believes no one could possibly love her until she's become a much better person. It ties into her own feelings of self-worth.

She swore to herself she wouldn't cry anymore.
...Which is all well and good to say, however she gets weepy eyed at the ending of every other romantic flick ... so well, it's not a well-kept oath.

Is an avid collector of various collectibles, and has suitcases full of them. Among her list, she collects bottle caps, teapots (belonging to a specific set), snowglobes and fashion magazines.
