Number 3 in my series of princesses on colors. This one is Snow White on red. The paper is a lot more red than orange, though I'm afraid the scan and color correction made it very orange. Stupid scanners. I swear, it's so much prettier in real life.

I got new colored pencils! A set of Prismacolor Premiere pencils, the 48 box. They were on sale at Michaels for 30% off. I was in the market for new, good quality pencils anyway, so I figured I had to. They're wonderful!! Definitely the best colored pencils I've worked with. It's like drawing with silk. They're so great. ^_^ I highly recommend them, if any of you are looking for good colored pencils.

Not sure how I feel about the green behind her, but I felt at the time that it needed some green. I like the window things behind them. Ariel didn't need it, because as a mermaid she already had a background. But I think I'll use the window for the others. They provide an opportunity to put some complimentary colors in the picture. And fill space up right in the middle, since I tend to put the focus more to one side or the other.
