Love the tutorial! But I do have one question. If the horse is a bit... "fluffier," like a sort of winter coat, should I use the brush used on the regular coat to just make it a bit more like hair, or do like the mane only shorter?

You can do it either way as long as your brush strokes follow the grain of the hair.
