Wow, it's been so long since I've uploaded something that I haven't seen deviantART's new submit screen... talk about confusing. |: *cough* Oh well.Anyways, I've had art block since last year, but I think I'm finally coming out of it. <3 Was fun to finally be able to draw again. First thing I've drawn in three months I think? So go easy on me. <3 There's a lot that bothers me about this, but all in all I'm happy with it. I think I'm going to make this Red's official look, because if you haven't noticed, her look tends to change everytime I upload a picture of her LOL. And I like this one, it suits her. x)
Hope you guys like it, and hopefully will have better art for you soon.

Definitely love the way you've drawn her hair, looks very detailed with the individual strands and varied shading/highlighting. It looks really pretty though!

That's great they're coming out of your art block. The coloring is a big strength of this and the background really fits into the facial expression and both do a great job of setting up the mood of this picture. I also like how the hair and eyes came out as well. My only crit here is the shading since I think it looks more flatter and less smooth than in your previous artwork.

Thanks Kevin! I do see what you mean, it took me a lot longer than usual to colour this honestly, especially on the hair. I literally turned to my boyfriend and told him I forgot how to colour hair... because I did! LOL I definitely see what you mean about it being flatter, and I'm hoping that's just due to lack of drawing recently.. We'll see. <3
