Description I asked my art instructor for feedback on my previous "bloom" artwork and she suggested that I crop the image.

Hooray for Cropping!

This time I don't agree with Andrew. This close up does not improve the green stem of flower, nor the appearence of grass. Also that linear light on the mountain ridge is still present, and as CG flavoured as ever.
The preceeding image had a touch of Alps feeling that was very nice, IMHO. Now nor the rule of thirds nor the golden rule are given the due respect.
I say again, that one was a very good image, only you have to work on lights (less crisp shadows on the flower and less distant glare, if any) and the details of the rock on the foreground.
Image is top notch, let it be clear, I'd like to see it perfect.

Thank you, I will keep your advice in mind. I suppose the SSS on the flower is a bit intense.
Also, thank you for a very well written critique with constructive feedback/criticism.

BTW, I meant my college art teacher, not Andrew Price

Welcome, friend. Sry for misunderstanding. Keep on showing how much Blender is good in good hands.
