Description
What is this title?This was originally a thumbnail/idea sketch for my concentration piece assignment in school. I scanned it and colored over it with some editing. (The spacing adjustment of the brush tool really helped save time on the chains XD)
My final piece is finished and painted with watercolor, but it doesn't fit my scanner so I'm not sure if I'll post that as well. I don't really feel comfortable posting art from school online actually since I know a couple of classmates with a dA account and I kinda don't want to be found. *shifty eyes* XD
My concentration theme was seasons, but I might change it to emotion, nature or elements. I'm so indecisive, it's annoying. >:
I'm actually amazed I had time to draw something today~ :> (though technically I'm supposed to be starting my French essay right now XD I'll try to squeeze that in this week, hopefully.)
And yes I know her head is huge.
I wanted to give it a funky fantasy-anatomy-like look or something. I don't even know what I'm saying. :v

I've actually been lurking quietly on your artwork and awesome book covers the past couple of months lololol XD
If I can't manage to get the watercolor version up, I'll definitely try to post other future watercolor artworks. It's my favorite type of paint media afterall~ :>

That'd be great! I definitely want to see those. Watercolor was always my favorite too (but it helps I always avoided oil and acrylic). There's something about the colors and how it all comes together.

Yeah I know what you mean~ watercolor has this nice dream-like effect that you can't produce with any other medium. It is fabulous<3 ; u ;
I haven't used acrylic since middleschool and I can't remember the last time I used oil paint XD I need to paint more often D:

Right. It's so beautiful. It creates a certain emotion to it that can't be replicated elsewhere. And it's fun to blend the colors.
I've never used oil paint. I was always scared of it. Mostly because everyone I knew who used it was amazing and for some reason people expected me to do really well with it. I just always stuck to color pencils, pastels, and watercolor. Now that I think about it, that probably wasn't smart. I kept playing it safe. Oh well.
