Not much left for this year's OMM season. Hopefully I can get a drawing done tomorrow.

Here is this week's One Minute Melee match up. Today we have a battle of two young RPG heroes who made many friends along their journeys and often fight along side them in battles. Not only that, but both of them use some very peculiar blade weapons as their primary weapons. On one side, the Keyblade wielding savior of various Disney worlds, Sora, on the other, the heroic Driver and wielder of the legendary blade Aegis, Rex.

So Kingdom Hearts is a classic at this point and the Xenoblade Chronicles series has essentially become a modern classic. Considering how both of the battle system of these games are pretty similar at a glance, I think pitting the two of them will be only fair. I decided to go with Rex here instead of Shulk because I already put Sora against Shulk in last year's DBX season, so I think I had to change it up. And besides, considering how Rex's gimmick is wielding various types of swords, I think it will really go well with Sora's keyblades, making this I think a more appropriate match up (maybe an even better DB match than Sora vs Pit probably).

Who would win here, well I know Sora has a lot of abilities and has been able to take some serious attacks from all kinds of powerful foes in his series. Plus giving him access to all of his blades here, it will look like he has the versatility advantage. However, Rex may have on huge thing going for him, that thing, potentially being scaled up to Shulk of all people (while holding the Monado mind you). I think most people around here know just how OP Shulk is in terms of Vs Matches, and if Rex was able to give him a challenge, then that doesn't exactly bode well for Sora now does it.

Next OMM idea: Expect the future to suck if these guys are in it.
