A small mining village in a magical world? kind of reminds me of the Shire being industrialised by Saruman, except this is far more peaceful.

Well, this texture with white dots I use everywhere, I made it from a photo of falling snow I took once. It gives a picture some mysterious touch 8) This time it doesn't mean snow, you are right
