I have some more things I need to photograph from the last kiln load, just need to pick up some props to show off the things and then I am going to give them to my grandparents for a late Christmas Present, they don't mind as I have been away at my in-laws over Christmas

Good I guess, just going back to Uni after 4 months off for summer.

Have a summer project due tomorrow which I haven't even started as I got it on Wednesday and the baby hasn't been well which is taking up all my time and leaving me exhausted.

I did manage to take some time off yesterday to go to a Pottery Festival, to do some research and didn't get back until baby's bed time. Then I'm busy all today, so I will have this evening to finish off my entire summer project this evening.

I fear the quality won't be too good.

Anthea has been working on some smileys for HooToo. Well I got stuff to do

He picked up most the words in a week, then was a bit slower with some of the rest

He was 13 months on Saturday

How many words now?
It's always amazing to me how fast babies pick things up considering all they have to pick up while still developing their basic motor skills.

I'd draw comparisons to walking into an exam except have that exam be in a language you didn't know. Sort of.

I don't know how many words, I lose count of how many and what he says sometimes

He can almost walk, he just can't seem to get the balance quite right, but he is most of the way there and cruises around the sofa and walls if I won't hold on to him. He is going to nursery so because he is around other children they help him learn how to use his fork and has come along very quickly and can almost use it properly from not really having a clue.

He is so cute when he is happy

No ones fault but my own I guess, just wish I was in my third year like I was supposed to be, but I guess I have another year to improve my throwing technique.

I really hate the other stuff we have to do and always do the bare minimum because all I want to do is sit at that wheel and not waste my time doing all the rubbish to satisfy the course requirements

Anthea thinks his first proper word will be 'yummy' or something along those lines as he loves his food so much, he goes off the charts for his weight and height, 26lb and 75cm he isn't small for a 7 month old, and impressed our doctor about how big and lively he is

Don't get me wrong I have tried the academic route before, I started off doing chemistry at one of the top universities in the UK, I found it boring and didn't really strain my abilities at all, and I just ended up really really bored.

It seems an eternity ago now, this time 5 years ago I was just going to start my chemistry uni course, I made a lot of friends and caught up with some old ones there but I decided it wasn't for me after a doing my first set of exams(don't worry I didn't flunk them, reverse was true)

The old friends I met up with are ones that I had been friends with as a small child, we went to pre-school and school up to the age of being 7 before he moved to near london, as his dad was a methodist minister.

I don't have many friends on my pottery degree, the only person I get on with and have had over to my house is a user on here called chaz-anime

I'm not there to make friends, I just want to make pottery
