It’s been a while since you’ve submitted this picture, it stood out in my message centre since day one, and it still does.

You see, Katie… I’ve gone from having a father, to discovering that actually I had two and ending without one. Both, in their own way, chose to walk out of my life, each one living behind a wounded soul and endless questions. Long story…

This picture represents what a treasure a father is.

I’m happy that you have such a beautiful relationship with yours, the complicity and love for each other is perceptible. Your father has something very aristocratic in him. It shows.

that is a wonderful portrait I think it's one of the hardest things to really capture personality and emotions in a portrait (I really suck at that! ) ... but you did a fabulous job - gotta love the colours in this one as well
