Gender: Stallion.

Tribe: Glaer.

Type: Water.

Species: Frost.

Likes: Being around his little sister and his family, being around a fire pit with his friends when the fire is going, stargazing and midnight walks around his village, and cooked fish. Not forgetting that he loves to swim and craft things out of wood.

Dislikes: Anything that would harm his family and friends, when other frost don't follow his instructions and being distracted when he's trying to catch some fish.

Close Friends: Winter Gray.

Personality: Aquilo is a strict, fierce and protective frost. If you get on his bad side, you better watch your back. He isn't as forgiving as the other frost in his tribe, in fact, he does hold a slight grudge, but eventually he will let it slide. When Aquilo was younger he wasn't as strict or fierce, he was quite playful but once he hit the teen years that all changed. Aquilo was very overprotective when it came around to his little sister, he always watch what she was doing just to make sure she was alright and safe by herself, he would protect his little sister at all cost, he would always do his best to protect his loved ones and his friends.

Backstory: Aquilo was born into the Glaer tribe to his mother and father on a warmish summer day, his mother and father were trying to think of a name to give to their newborn baby colt and it was his mother who came up with his name. During the early stages in Aquilo's life he spent most of his childhood play fighting with the other young frost in his tribe, he would win some play fights and he would also lose some play fights, but at least he was developing social skills and each time he had a play fight with another young frost his tail got stronger.

At the age of ten Aquilo started to change, he was no longer that playful colt anymore, he was quite strict and fierce for his age, but he never played rough and he always followed the rules and he tried his best to stay out of trouble. Aquilo spent most of his time helping his mother out whenever she went fishing, his mother was a fisherwoman and his father was a sailor, Aquilo didn't get to see his father very often but he knew he would see him again, he could feel it in his bones.

One day when he was fishing with his mother, he caught his first fish! It was only a baby fish and it had to be thrown back into the water because it wasn't big enough yet, but he had a smile on his face when he saw that he caught his first fish and his mother smiled at him. The next day when he went out fishing with his mother again, she told him something and his father already knew this, Aquilo's mother told him that he was gonna be a big brother and once Aquilo heard this news he jump with joy.

A few years later his little sister was born and his father had returned home safe and sound, Aquilo's mother was very happy to see her husband again and Aquilo was happy to see his father again, but he never doubted for a second. Aquilo decided that he would give his parents some space so he told them he was going out for a while and his mother told him to be careful and he promised his mother he would be careful out there and he would be home before dark.

Before he left, his father gave his son a present and Aquilo took the present with him. Aquilo didn't actually go very far away from his house, he went to the nearby fishing spot where his mother always went fishing and he sat down. Aquilo placed the present down on the ground before getting into the water, it was quite cold but it didn't bother him, he spent half an hour swimming around in the water and it turned out that he was actally liking this.

Once he had his fun he got out of the water and he turned his attenion to the present his father had gotten him, he opened it and inside the present was a piece of wood and a very sharp knife. Aquilo picked up the piece of wood with his right hoof and he picked up the knife by the handle with his teeth, not long afterwards he had an idea in his head, he would craft a small wooden boat for his little sister. By the time the sun had set, Aquilo had crafted a small wooden boat for his little sister and he had enough time to get back to his house before dark, but he would give the boat to his little sister on his sixteenth birthday.

Finally, that day had arrived, Aquilo was now sixteen years of age and it was now time for him to go through the coming of age ceremony, it was the most important celebration of his life and every other frost his age had to do it because if they don't? They won't be able to marry until they do the coming of age ceremony. Aquilo was feeling rather nervous today and he had every right to be nervous because this was a big day for him, Aquilo knew his mother would stay behind to look after her daughter because Aquilo's little sister wasn't old enough yet, she was only six years old. Aquilo had already given his little sister the small wooden boat he crafted himself and now he was heading to where the ceremony took place with his father. It was going to be a difficult challenge ahead and Aquilo's father would follow closely behind his son as his son travels up the mountain, the journey ahead for Aquilo wouldn't be easy because these mountains were very dangerous and only frost ponies were strong enough to climb these mountains. As Aquilo began his journey slowly up the mountain, he kept his eyes wide open just in case if he spotted something that didn't look right. As Aquilo got further up the mountain he could feel the strong wind blowing against his body and further he went up the mountain the strong the wind got and soon enough he was now walking into a blizzard and he couldn't see anything, but it was Aquilo's determination that pushed him forward, he was going to complete his task. Soon enough Aquilo spotted something moving in the distance, he couldn't really see what it was, he thought it was another frost at first, but whatever he spotted in the distance it wasn't moving up the mountain, it was moving down towards him. Aquilo stopped for a moment and he tried his best to focus on the creature that was moving towards him and his eyes widen when he saw what it was, it turned out to be an Ice Wraith and he knew these creatures were extremely dangerous, Aquilo had to protect himself against the Ice Wraith that was heading towards him and before Aquilo had a chance to prepare himself, he felt something sharp scrape across on the bridge of nose, the Ice Wraith had scratched Aquilo's bridge quite badly leaving behind two marks and Aquilo yelped in pain. The Ice Wraith wasn't going away but Aquilo managed to scare it off by throwing some rocks at it with his strong tail. Once that had been dealt with he continue up the mountain, still determined to reach the top and eventually he made it to the top of the mountain and once his father had reached the top as well, Aquilo's father was proud of his son, he asked his son how he managed to get two marks across his nose and Aquilo told his father the truth before his father presents his son a cloak and he placed it over his son, the cloak was Aquilo's sixteenth birthday present. The last thing Aquilo had to do now was to get his nose checked out and that's how Aquilo got two small scars on the bridge of his nose.

I hope with what I wrote stays within the rules of the frost, I was trying my very best as I wrote up Aquilo's backstory and personality and I hope it's alright and I'm sorry it took me so long to finish this, but I wanted it to be perfect.. I hope you guys like Aquilo, Kyu did a smashing job on designing him. Please let me know if there's anything I have to change.
