I got some more free time today, so I used some of the good crits I got here and elsewhere--hit shift-reload if you don't see the changes!Anyway, here's what I changed:
* Made larger the left hand which people said was too small
* Someone said it looked like that hand should be holding something, and someone else said that a picture like this needed at least SOME blood, so I gave her a bloody cloth wrapped around that hand.
* Added some refinement to nose-bridge area to fix my lighting
* Fixed folds on cloth on outstretched arm to make the arm position more clear.
Well, I WAS working, but then my flatmate's loud son arrived, making concentration impossible. So I decided to mess around and do something else instead. A while ago, I did a self-portrait called "The Vendetta" ( [link] ), but I wasn't very pleased with it. It didn't even look like me all that much. So I decided to make a new one.
"It was a real blood-feud, the kind where you're not happy till your enemy's guts lie in an interesting tangle at your feet...."

This is great! But one little thing is bothering me: the white in this pic could be a little more darker. Now itΒ΄s "jumping out" too much. I hope you can receive some critic too

The right hand looks like there is a transparency to it β near the end of the hand. Maybe my eyes are just buggered. O_o

Woahh...I'm used to seeing portraits of pets from you, especially recently, but now I'm left wondering why you haven't drawn more of people. I love the background of this, in fact, it's my favorite part of the entire thing. The eyes seem a little off, other than that...well done.

i think it would have been fine without the cloth wrapped around her hand. cuz it looks like she's wearing glovex, and i dont think she would be bleeding over a glove. O_o other than that, i really like it vendetta happens to be one of my favorite words, and what im going to name a kid, if the world is unfortunate ever to hav that happen. hehe. ok so im babbling.

I really like this piece, particularly the deadly and proud gaze -- damn, this is what many artists around lack.. powerful expression, and a sinister -- but not weak, or cheap -- feel.

This is beautiful! I really like the detail from the dress, and the attitude from her face .
I think the 'grafiti' from the background adds some interesting to this piece. It confuses me if this is acient or more from this age, but I like that!

I love this... the look on her face, the details of her dress, the way she holds herself, the wall, the way she looks almost regal yet poverty-striken at the same time
