Description
So! There's a bit of a story to this one. The Secret of NIMH has always been one of my favorite Don Bluth movies. I found out that animator Philo Barnhart, who worked on the film (along with Disney classics like Little Mermaid and Beauty & the Beast) was attending a convention in my town so I sketched Mrs. Brisby here and asked if he'd sign it for me. He not only signed it but wrote me a sweet note and took a photo with me too! He was super nice, my friend and I go to chat with him for a bit. I also bought an awesome art print from him. First time meeting a Disney & Bluth animator in person! Anyways! I wanted to share both the original rough sketch and the color with Philo's signature and message. This is such a treasure for me! :")
