So um...yeah.
I finally managed to finish this! It's been an ongoing project for over a month now, I'd work on the leaves whenever I found a few spare minutes of free time (which is rare these days) and tonight I finally had a little time to sit down and finish it up. Aannd...*drumroll* I'm not that happy with it. 
I like the sketch more but yeah, that's typical. Anyways, I wanted the background and scenery to stay "sketchy" so the only inks used here were on the characters, to make them stand out. Socks (the mutt carrying the water bottles) represents me; my dogs are Foxy (chihuahua), Cricket (miniature pinscher/jack russel terrier mix), Nemo (beagle) and Wahya (siberian husky/rough collie mix) I go hiking with the pack a lot, it's one of my favorite activities.

All those leaves! And you even shaded all the ones on the Orange tree in the front! All your hard work paid off though, this turned out great (: I like how Nemo is about to step in the grass, and how you faded out the far background to give a sense of depth.

Thanks so much Houndz (and sorry for the late reply, my life is chaos oAo)!! Nemo is very easily distracted, he's a hound dog afterall...he's got a "follow your nose!" mentality (crap I hope Fruit Loops doesn't sue me for use of that catchphrase XD)

Aww thanks Jeebs ;; I wouldn't say it's my best but...I spent too much time on it to hate it just yet. XD The weather out here is starting to get too cold for a lot of hiking now, I'm gonna go crazy until spring
