HONESTLY im not that bothered by it being fire/fighting, i think its mostly a meme at this point lol
however i actually am really hoping for fire/electric!

that's actually pretty cool! tbh I find that a lot of the fire starters appeal more to me (fennekin, scorbunny, litten, etc.)

i honestly jump around so much... my top 3 starters (not including scorbunny, i need to let that one settle in before i know what place its gonna sit) are all different types
my favorite type overall is flying but i dont like charizard very much (well, i like merga charizard y) and rowlet doesnt appeal to me u___u
so its a grab-bag what i like

a lot of the starters i like happen to be fire types, but there are quite a few i like that aren't fire type. (i'm actually not too into pokemon... like i watched the anime when i was little but that's about it)
