Description Title says it all

Now that the baby boy is born (of a friend, I'm only 21 weeks far now ) and the little birthday presents are distributed, I'm allowed to publish this one. It's been done for quite a few months though, so there was enough time to print it.
It was fun to work on, especially because I was feeling sick from pregnancy myself at that time. It made me hoping for better days, and although I've been trough some hellish weeks after that I'm feeling better, FINALLY. My utmost support and respect to every pregnant woman who has to go trough this longer.

I still have some commissions and a birthlist to finish (which both take more time than I hoped for) but I'm soo looking forward to make more M2M!

Medium: lines on paper, digital colours and background.

This is adorable! Have you ever considered making a business out of designing these types of cards?

Glad you're feeling better!

Aah, only had time to reply now! And yes, I've been thinking about making a business out of drawing and designing, the latest year more than before. Problem is that to do so, I should purchase adobe CC (designing includes using illustrator as well and delivering it in the right format - now I have a free non-commercial licence through my job) and that means a monthly cost while I don't even know if I will be able to handle a commission per month. So I'm going to wait for the baby and us to get settled to see if there are any possibilities

Be wary of Adobe CC; I did some research on it and Adobe is charging a lot of money for an inferior product, plus you have to keep paying them every month in order to access any work you store on their cloud. If you have a Mac computer (which I believe you don't) then try Affinity Designer. If not, I can send you several links to excellent freeware or reasonably priced graphics programs for Windows or Linux.

That's indeed what's happening: they made a bunch of programs that all do something slightly different, packed it as if they have a huge software pack with lots of functionality, and then sell it with the monthly subscription that is too expensive for non regular use. There are alternatives, but the issue is that a lot of people want an illustrator file delivered here. So I need to take some time to figure out if there are alternatives that deliver the same formats and results (it isn't because the file type is the same that the actual result will be 100% the same when interpreted or made by another progam). Ah we'll see how my life will look first after the coming months thanks for the tip!
