Hehee xD This was supposed to be a random vampire doodle, (random pic is random) but turned up to become somepo...one some of us might know
Truly I really love Luna's long hair, etc. but at first hair was short and I was quite curious ho is it gonna came up 
This is definitely not her casual dress, something more like night-dress...? (see what I did here....? ) still trying to quick up coming up with something new... have an eye for some bat-stuff
Oh, and yeah, I support elfs for unicorns or alicorns
And also changed her eyes as you can see, to make them look more moon-ish xD Maybe that's how they look when they turn glowing ? (like in the show?)Luna (c) Hasbro, L.F.

I would have written an answer to your comment on the Night drawing but then I came upon this and decided to shrink two comments into one.
First of all I am glad you dont mind me using your Luna desing as a base for my alicorn drawigs. I am not really popular so crediting you is going to do jack s**t but hey, every little bit helps.
Then I saw this drawing and it immediatly threw my back to my early years when I was drawing princesses and dress designs. By the way I also drew humanized Luna when I became brony because I didnt have the skills to draw a pony.
Anyhow, just as with your original Luna design, I like how you changed her various features to fit the theme of the night. The eyes, the skin, the ears, it all looks great.
Also, it is quiet apparent she was supposed to be a vampire at first. the whole concept would be more fitting for queen Chrysalis in my opinion, you know with all the "sucking out the life essence" whether it is blood or love.
Still, it is good for Luna as well as she is THE creature of the night (in the best sense possible).

Well for me, the changelings are much more creative and interresting version of vampires. Thats why I find the concept fitting for Chrysalis.
For me, creating a picture means finding the right balance between details and atmosphere. Sometimes the picture looks too oversaturated with various details and sometimes it is too stale and empty.
Thats why I always focus on a certain objects in the picture to make them more detailed and then create the rest only to underline the atmosphere.
I believe that you nailed it perfectly, there are many neat interresting things which make the depicted figure more beautiful while the rest of the picture is done in a nice modest way with some grade A shading so that those small details really stand out.
I also really like the whole humanized desing in general, the haircut looked a bit strange at first, but now I like it. The facial features is where your art really excels. When I used to draw princess and dress desings I never managed to properly shade faces so it is a marvel to look at a work which has it well done.

Well, the reason I commented in the first place was because I really liked your alicorn desing and your style in general, I explained that all above. So there is not really much more to say.
The only thing I should mention is that I like night very much and Luna is one of my favorite ponies.
On the other hand, Celestia seems a bit arogant at times in my opinion. Thats the first emotion I saw in the picture, arogance, propably because of the slightly sinister expression.
However in time I liked it, guess it only was my negative opinion about Tia that came into play. One thing I adored in the picture was the mane, I love how it goes exactly with the background. It kinda reflects the sky, the red warm shade with a glimmer looks like a sunrise. That might also mean that her mane would change into night sky during the night, that would be pretty cool.
The only thing that looks a bit weird is the cuttie mark, it looks a bit unnatural in my opinion, as if it wasnt a part of her body. But its only a minor thing in an otherwise good picture.
You must forgive me if I dont fav it, I only fav works which I really REALLY like and which touch me. The drawing is great, Celestia is just not my kind of alicorn.
