Description
Head construction from imagination using cube, my pirated version of the "T," knowledge of the skull, planar models of the skull, and lots of patience. The plan was to work up each sketch through construction to finish, but I ran out of gas. And once I achieved a good illusion of bilateral symmetry so that the heads looked decent when I flipped them on the canvass, I had achieved the goal of my recent focused practice sessions. I will leave finishing for another time, since I am far from it. I have pressed farther than before into the construction of the head. But I have yet to address individual features. So, give thanks for small victories. One at a time. Slowly, but surely. (And that "T" is mine! I own "that" Tee. That Tee loves me. Look what we did together. )
haha. Still breaking each other in, but the advance in working methodically to achieve measured results is there. The rest is attending strictly to proportions and adapting them to my aesthetics.
