thought i would try a double leap from digital painting to traditional pencil drawing - should have thought about that one a bit more. this was really difficult!! made with my awesome childhood coloured pencils on a pad of sketch paper. Desaturation was very challenging.oh well, first serious sketch in a while, and first ever pencil coloured piece, so i'll expect me to be pretty rusty/nubby (no pun intended) for a while. anyway, looks nothing like reference .
not made in mypaint, for once! but variously colour corrected and cropped in gimp.
note to self: never scan. always take photo.
